Willie Croft, Jr.

Willie Croft, Jr. (96) was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Throughout his life he touched many lives with his generosity and passion for life. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Willie Jr. was born on December 25, 1925, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.to the late Goldie Hand Croft and Willie Croft, Sr. He was baptized at an early age in a little creek off the Mississippi River near Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Willie Jr. was a lively, energetic and outgoing person. He had a good heart and a kind spirit. He loved his family and attending family events. He loved spending time with family and friends whenever he could. He had a passion for sports and enjoyed watching a good game of football and baseball. He was very active until his health began to fail him.
Willie Jr. spent most of his working career in the hotel industry until he retired from the Broadwater Beach Hotel in Biloxi Mississippi.
Willie Jr. is preceded in death by his parents Goldie Hand Croft and Willie Croft, Sr.; and great-grandson Gregory Anderson, Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory: one daughter, Betty Craft, Atlanta, Georgia and one son Julius Bullock, Biloxi, Mississippi: 6 grandchildren, Brien (Keisha) Craft, Marietta, Georgia, Quientinez Alexander, Gregory Anderson, Julius Turner, Jacques Turner, and Jerron Kennedy: 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild, and many other relatives and friends. He also had a special bond with his cousins Rena Mae Fleming, Henry Hand Jr and Jackie Coutee.

Funeral services for Willie Croft, Jr. will be held Friday, January 28, 2022, at 11:00 am with viewing at 10:00 am, at Infinity Funeral Home, 184 Main Street, Biloxi, Mississippi 39530.
