Woodrow Price

Mr. Woodrow Price, a native of Silver Creek, Mississippi passed away December 2, 2011, at Vista Hospital of South Bay in Garndena, California. He was 93. Woodrow was born April 9, 1918, to the union of Elijah and Harriett Barnes Price. He was the last of 11 children. Woodrow was a World War II Veteran who served in the United States Navy. He worked many years in construction and carpentry, and was known as a "Jack of All Trades." Woodow will be missed by his four children, Carl B. Price (Annie Pearl) of Jackson, Mississippi, Bettie Hathorn (John) of Bassfield, Mississippi, Phillip Price of Los Angeles, California; Joyce Price Harvey (Robert) of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He also leaves 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family has entrusted care of their loved one to the professional staff of RICHMOND-AUGUST FUNERAL HOME.
